Made in the USA, certified - all Jones Natural Chews bear this symbol with pride

Proudly Made in the USA

Proudly Made in the USA

Today’s post, Proudly Made in the USA, is gently recycled. I don’t think I can stress enough the importance of US made dog treats, as well as all natural dog treats. So, while the dog deaths have lessened greatly, the need to buy American and all natural is still vital. Jones Natural Chews aren’t the only ones on the market, but I do honestly believe that they’re the best.

There’s been a recent rash of dog deaths in the US. I am not a scare monger, but my heart breaks for dog owners all over who have fallen prey to the foreign treats. In contrast, I’d like to highlight the benefits of Jones Natural Chews. Seriously, you would if you were in my shoes. Jones is 100% grown and made in the USA and 100% all natural. That should be a relief to those of you already hooked on Jones treats and incentive for those of you who are not.

Quality Assurance

What does it mean to be 100% grown and made in the USA? Here’s what Jones has to say about their quality assurance:

Jones Natural Chews Co. has always been very proud to have the American flag on all of our products. All of JNC’s products are 100% grown and made in the USA. Jones Natural Chews, Co. is very proud to announce we are now certified. A third party audit by “USA Made” has certified all of our products with our very own number on it.

We know you care what you feed your pets. The quality of our products are very important to us here at Jones’. We go out of our way to provide safe and wholesome edible chews and treats for your family members. We have a very severe HACCP (Hazard Analytical Critical Control Point) plan in place. Stringent cleanliness guidelines, product testing (in our in-house lab along with outside laboratories), and product lot code and tracking, are just a few things the HACCP plan covers.

We are inspected once a year by third party audits (AIB International).

Family Owned and Run

I love working for Jones. Not only is Jones a family owned and operated company, not only has the Jones family been in the meat industry for over 150 years, not only has Jones been primarily brick and mortar for decades, catering to the mom and pop businesses that make our country great, but everything Jones Natural Chews produces is made in the USA and is all natural. It’s pretty much awesome.

Why Buy Jones Natural Chews?

What else? Jones Natural Chews are affordable. I never gave my dogs treats before Jones. Should I admit that? They got dog food and pizza crusts, as well as the occasional pan to lick after dinner. But treats were expensive. And I didn’t know what was in most treats. Jones brings the treats to the consumer at a price most people can afford.

What else? Jones chews are single ingredient treats, or very few ingredients. I love that. And I can pronounce all the ingredients in the treats. Oh! If you go to the FAQ section of the Jones site they have all KINDS of fascinating info on their treats! I highly recommend it. Go.

To sum up, buy Jones chews. They’re the best. It’s easy! And Jones will make your dog smile. Can’t find Jones chews in your area? Head to Natural Dog Treat Shop. But chances are good there’s a shop near you!

  1. Yep, what Taryn said. I really can’t believe that people buy dog treats that are made in China. There is SO MUCH negative press, how do you not know that you should only buy treats that made in the USA, and even then, you should be careful and research the company first.
We really want to try Jones Chews products, but we haven’t yet only because I still haven’t hauled my lazy butt to Atwoods (the closest place to us that carries them). Really wish Southern Ag would start carrying them. Or really anywhere in Tulsa. I’d order online, but woof, the shipping is too high to justify. Maybe that will change in the future.
