Dog Treat Recipe Using Jones Natural Chews
Dog treat recipe using Jones Natural Chews? SHUT. UP. Who ever thought of such a thing? Clearly, this person is a freakin’ GENIUS.
I mean, my dogs already fight over Windees and pig ears. Just yesterday I accidentally dropped the last pig ear and you’d have thought WWII was happening in my kitchen, the way the two of them went at it.
Oh my. Now I’m hungry.
My question is this: Has it ever occurred to you to alter existing treats like this? Have you ever used a JNC treat, or any other, as the springboard for something to keep your dog happy and busy for hours? Honestly, this is genius. I just drop treats on the ground and leave my dogs to it. A dog treat recipe – mmm.
But if I had an active puppy that I wanted to keep busy and out of my hair, this is probably something I would do to keep it entertained, as well as making sure it had a healthy treat for its growing puppy body.
If I Can Do It, You Can Do It
Yes, today’s post is gently recycled. In fact, Jodi’s post inspired me to create my own dog treat original using Jones Natural Chews. Click this sentence to see what I attempted. It’s a frozen pupsicle, perfect for the Fourth of July!
I know there are dog geniuses out there. What’s the plural of genius? Is it geniuses? I’m obviously not one. I’d love to know if any of you have altered treats to make even better treats. Tell me! Send me a photo! The idea is undoubtedly cool. Taking an all natural sausage link and turning it into .. what? Hmm … I may just need to experiment. Which means, I’m off again!
But not before I tell you about our latest Jones Natural Chews giveaway! We actually have two running right now. Here on the blog, if you click this sentence you’ll find a Woofer giveaway – hamburgers for your dog for Independence Day. If you follow us on Instagram – @JonesChews – we’re holding a Windees giveaway, which enables you to make your own pupsicles if you win! Or you could just go buy some Windees, pumpkin and greek yogurt, make your own. I mean, why wait, y’know?
I really am going to scoot now. Emmy the Pet Sitter is in Tulsa today and we’re off to have adventures! We’re going to visit the Pioneer Woman’s Mercantile and try to get tickets to visit her Lodge. Why, of COURSE I’ll take pictures! Stay tuned!
