Well? Do you dress your dog?
I’m not typically a dog dresser, but Halloween is around the corner. I have a confession to make here. I never dressed my own kids for Halloween.
Don’t hate me.
But this year I’ve decided to start small and dress the dogs just a little. A little.
What do you think? More? No dressing the dogs?
The next, logical question, is, do I take them trick or treating? And do I give out dog treats along with candy this year?
I’m still ignorant of a lot in the dog world, so I’ll ask y’all – do you take your dogs trick or treating? Do you give out treats?
Because if I give out dog treats, it would probably be JNC’s Windee Rings. Or their Wheezer Sticks. I think I’m going to ask Laura and Suzy of they give out treats, and which ones they think would be best to hand out. Hm.

In other news, Roger didn’t make it. We think it wasn’t her foot, but something neurological. She stopped eating immediately when she fell ill. It’s also why I didn’t post last Thursday and Friday. Ours was a house of mourning. We’re past that now, but still a little sad.
On the sunny side, Mary Ann, one of the chickens, has been sitting on one of Roger’s eggs for a couple of weeks. I’m hoping that in just a couple more weeks (28 to 31 days for duck incubation) we’ll have a little Roger Ann hatching. I think Jimmy might like that. Jim has been despondent, only nibbling my fingers at night when I lock him in the coop. He won’t come near me during the day. I miss Jimmy. Y’all know I’ll keep you updates with cute duckling photos when it hatches!
Until I write again …
